Fahmy Underlines Positive Change in Stance of World Countries On Egypt

Foreign Minister Nabil Fahmy said that his visit to Slovakia aims at discussing promoting bilateral ties between Egypt and Slovakia in many domains.

He said he is also visiting the country to attend a meeting of the foreign ministers of the Visegraacuted Group countries, an alliance of four Central European states: Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia, to probe cooperation between Egypt and the four Central European countries.

In a statement to MENA, Fahmy said he will also attend the Global Security Forum (GLOBESEC) in the Slovakian capital.

As for the stance of the world countries on Egypt, Fahmy said that he has touched a big change over the last ten months describing such change as “substantial.”

He said that his foreign visits aim at clarifying the real Egyptian situation as well as investing the agreement on the viewpoints with other countries in a positive way.
