Fahmy – Arabs Have to Unite in Face of Challenges

Foreign Minister Nabil Fahmy has met with the Arab ambassadors in Cairo, at the Saudi ambassador’s residence, to explain the threats to the Arab world.

Foreign Ministry Spokesman Badr Abdel Aati said the meeting took on the latest developments in Egypt as well as ways to promote inter-Arab relations.

Fahmy briefed the diplomats on the implementation progress of the roadmap and the priorities of Egypt’s foreign policy after June 30 Revolution.

He added that Egypt is seeking to retrieve its leading role in the Arab world and Africa.

Arabs have to unite in the face of the challenges that encounter their region topped by those of terror and division among Arab countries on sectarian and ethnic grounds, Fahmy was quoted by the spokesman.
