Egyptians in Tunisia Start Vote in Presidential Polls

Egyptians in Tunisia started on Thursday 1552014 voting in Egyptian presidential polls to choose the new president. Voting began at 9:00 a.m. and will close at 9:00 p.m. for four days. High turnout was reported on the first voting day.

A diplomatic source said that voting in presidential polls is a ‘national duty and milestone’ in Egypt’s democratic transition period following the June 30 revolution.

Voters can cast their ballots either by their valid ID cards or passports.
