Egyptians in Moscow Start Vote in Presidential Polls

Egyptians in Russia started on Thursday 1552014 voting in the Egyptian presidential polls to choose their president for the next four years.

Voters will have to choose between Hamdeen Sabahy, represented by the eagle symbol on ballots, and former Minister of Defense Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi, represented by the star.

Egyptian Ambassador Mohamed Badri said any Egyptian living or visiting Russia can cast his ballot at the Egyptian embassy as long as heshe is registered at the voter data base and is holding a valid ID card or a passport.

Voting begins at 9:00 a.m. and will close at 9:00 p.m. for four days.

The ambassador urged Egyptians to take part in drawing up Egypt’s future.
