Egyptian, Libyan Contacts On Condition of Nationals in Tripoli

Foreign Ministry spokesman Badr Abdel-Aati has said it was in contact with the Libyan authorities to keep abreast of the conditions of Egyptians living in Libya, especially in Tripoli.

Meanwhile, the Libyan foreign and interior ministries affirmed that no Egyptian causalities were reported in the missile attack that targeted a building in the southern Tripoli district of Kremia, Egypt’s ambassador to Libya said.

“The initial investigations showed that the fatalities were among Arab and African nationals, but not Egyptians,” Abdel-Aati quoted the ambassador as saying.

The Foreign Ministry aised all Egyptians in Libya to move to safer areas inside Libya or to leave the country via the Tunisian borders.
