Egyptian Embassy in Abuja Opens to Voters

The Egyptian Embassy opened early on Thursday 1552014 to receive voters who will cast votes to pick Egypt’s president for the next four years.

Though many Egyptians are living away from the capital, they are expected to gather at the embassy headquarters to take part in these important polls, Ambassador Ashraf Abdel Kader Salama said.

He expected a high voter turnout at the weekend days of Saturday and Sunday.

The four-day vote will end on Sunday 1852014.

For Egyptians at home, presidential polls will take place on May 26-27.
