Egyptian Embassies Continue Efforts to Explain Situation at Home

Egyptian diplomatic missions abroad exert continuous efforts to explain the latest developments in the homeland.

In Seychelles, Egypt’s non-resident ambassador met Saturday with the president and foreign minister as part of diplomatic efforts to get them familiar with the latest developments in Cairo.

The meeting also tackled boosting ties and cooperation with the sub-Saharan African country, the Foreign Ministry said in a statement.

Meantime, Egypt’s envoy in Dakar met with Senegal’s foreign minister, as they discussed regional and African developments, along with resuming Egypt’s activities in the African Union.

The Senegalese top diplomat asserted that his country will be among the first States to call for ending Egypt’s AU membership suspension after electing the new president in Egypt.
