Egypt Wins Indonesian Leadership Award

Egypt has won the Indonesian Leadership Award from among 26 countries that participated in an international conference that was held in Jakarta last month.

The Indonesian embassy in Jakarta held a ceremony to hand over the prize to Chairman of the Egyptian-Indonesian Business Council Mohamed Baraka.

“The prize is considered an appreciation from the Indonesian government to the Egyptian private sector as well as the constant effective role to boost relations between the two countries, Baraka said.

He added that the success of the Egypt’s economic forum scheduled to be held in March 2015 hinges on strict measures to be taken by the Egyptian government to ensure a stable atmosphere of legislation.

He noted that the Egyptian economy attracts investment however, some guarantees should be taken to avoid any abrupt decisions that might harm the investment atmosphere.
