Egypt Intensifies Efforts to Implement Arab Summit Resolutions

Egypt is currently following up the implementations of the Arab summit’s resolutions pertaining to combating terrorism.

Spokesman for the Foreign Ministry Ambassador Badr Abdul-Atti said that Foreign Minister Nabil Fahmy held several meetings with representatives of the departments concerned in the ministry including the Arab, and neighboring countries affairs as well as the cultural sector.

He added that Fahmy met with the Secretary General of the Arab League to discuss means of following up the implementations of the resolutions and initiatives of the Arab summit.

Fahmy also met with the Egyptian education minister to prepare for the meeting of the Arab education ministers that will be held under the proposal that was floated by Egypt’s interim President Adly Mansour in which he called for dedicating the period from 2014 to 2024 to fight illiteracy in the Arab world at large, the spokesman noted.
